Butterfly valves with electronic safety position function
One of the drawbacks of motorised butterfly valves is a loss of supply voltage, which can cause problems if the actuator remains in an unsuitable position.
Various methods can move a valve to its safety position, including spring-return actuators or electronic boards equipped with batteries. These solutions may involve technical, size and cost considerations that need to be assessed for each installation.
Advances in electronics offer an alternative for returning to a predefined safety position. On this page you can consult the technical documentation for the solution based on Nenutec actuators (Poland): the standard NACA20 and the NECA20 with electronic return.
The electronic safety position function is provided by the NECA20. The NACA20 is the standard alternative and does not include this return function. Assembly selection and the safety position must be checked against the requirements of each installation.
